Motorists should follow posted detour

FAIRFAX, VA - The ramp from Georgetown Pike to southbound I-495 is scheduled to close tomorrow night Tuesday, April 8, between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next morning. The ramp closure will allow crews to shift traffic at the ramp as part of the I-495 Express Lanes Northern Extension (495 NEXT) project.
