Eastbound Dulles Toll Road/Access Road to Close Nightly East of Route 7 Interchange Monday, July 22 through Friday, July 26 & Westbound Dulles Access

FAIRFAX, VA - During overnight hours starting Monday night, July 22 and continuing nightly for an estimated week, eastbound Dulles Toll Road and eastbound Dulles Access Road toward I-495 will be closed just east of the Route 7 interchange to allow crews to install bridge girders for a new overpass from eastbound Dulles Toll Road to northbound 495 Express Lanes. Similar closures are planned nightly July 25 and 26, for girder lifts over the westbound Dulles Access Road. This work is part of the 495 NEXT project to extend the 495 Express Lanes from Tysons to the George Washington Memorial Parkway.

Overnight Multi-Lane Closures and Traffic Stoppages on I-495 Near Live Oak Drive in McLean Next Week, July 22-24

Motorists should expect delays

FAIRFAX, VA - Triple lane closures are scheduled during overnight hours next Monday, July 22, through Wednesday, July 24, between 9:30 p.m. and 5 a.m., on northbound and southbound I-495 in the vicinity of the Live Oak Drive bridge (MM 43.1). One lane in each direction will remain open, with full traffic stoppages of up to 30 minutes each occurring between midnight and 5 a.m. each night.
