Motorists Should Follow Posted Detour to Access I-495 North

FAIRFAX, VA - The ramp from eastbound Dulles Toll Road/Airport Access Road (Route 267) to northbound I-495 (Capital Beltway) is scheduled to close during overnight hours Monday night, Oct. 28, Tuesday night, Oct. 29 and Wednesday night, Oct. 30. This closure will take place each night from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning to allow crews to conduct paving wok as part of the 495 NEXT project.

Motorists Should Follow Posted Detour to Access I-495 North; Expect Continued Nighttime Ramp Closure and Detour in Weeks Ahead

FAIRFAX, VA - The on-ramp from the westbound Dulles Toll Road (Route 267) to northbound I-495 (Capital Beltway Inner Loop) is scheduled to be closed during overnight hours tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 22 and again tomorrow night, Wednesday, Oct. 23 to allow crews to conduct milling and paving work as part of the 495 NEXT project. The ramp will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning. Drivers are advised that this same ramp closure will occur periodically over the coming weeks for continued construction.

Motorists should follow posted detour

FAIRFAX, VA - Beginning on Monday, Oct. 14, and continuing weeknights through Tuesday, Nov. 26, the ramp from Georgetown Pike to southbound I-495 will be closed so crews can conduct sound wall work as part of the 495 NEXT Project. The ramp closure will be in place Mondays through Fridays, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning.
