Motorists should follow posted detour

FAIRFAX, VA - Beginning Sunday night, Feb. 16, and continuing nightly through Friday, Feb. 28, the ramp from Georgetown Pike to southbound I-495 in McLean will be closed. The ramp closure will occur nightly between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following morning, to allow crews to conduct noise wall work as part of the I-495 Express Lanes Northern Extension (495 NEXT) project.

Closures to continue during overnight hours tonight, Tuesday, Feb. 4 through Saturday night, Feb. 15 for continued bridge work

FAIRFAX, VA - 495 NEXT project crews will continue bridge work over northbound I-495 at the Dulles Corridor Interchange for a new 495 Express Lanes ramp, following the Big Beam Weekend operation, which was completed successfully early Monday morning, Jan. 27. This bridge work will require the following lane and ramp closures during overnight hours beginning at 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning, Monday through Saturday nights, Feb. 4 to Feb. 15...

FAIRFAX, VA - 495 NEXT project crews will continue bridge work over northbound I-495 at the Dulles Corridor Interchange for a new 495 Express Lanes ramp, following the Big Beam Weekend operation, which was completed successfully early this morning.
