Slow-Roll Traffic Operation on Westbound Dulles Connector Road from I-66 to Route 123 Scheduled During Nighttime Hours Next Week, June 24-28
Motorists should stay alert for construction vehicles and expect delays
FAIRFAX, VA - Overnight “slow roll” lane closures are planned next week on westbound Dulles Connector Road (Route 267) between I-66 and Route 123 (Dolley Madison Boulevard/Chain Bridge Road) for work to replace overhead sign structures as part of the 495 NEXT project. The brief closures are scheduled Monday through Friday nights, June 24-28, between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Lane and Ramp Closures on I-495 North and South, and Georgetown Pike for Concrete Deck Pours Planned for June 10, 13, 16 and 17
Crews to pour concrete deck for Georgetown Pike bridge in three phases; Motorists should expect delays and plan ahead
FAIRFAX, VA - Starting on or about Monday, June 10, crews will be pouring the concrete bridge deck for the new northern portion of Georgetown Pike bridge over the Capital Beltway (I-495). Georgetown Pike bridge over I-495 is being rebuilt as part of the I-495 Express Lanes Northern Extension (495 NEXT) project.

Nighttime Lane Closures on Northbound I-495 Near Route 123 (Exit 46) to Implement Traffic Shift onto New Bridge Planned for June 7
Nightly ramp closure and detour for eastbound Dulles Toll Road/Airport Access Road to northbound I-495 traffic needed for bridge demolition following traffic shift, planned for June 10 through 15
FAIRFAX, VA - On or about the night of Friday, June 7, 495 NEXT project crews will shift traffic onto a new I-495 North bridge over the eastbound Dulles Toll Road/Airport Access Road (Route 267) ramp. This work will involve closing two northbound I-495 lanes between just south of Exit 46B (North Route 123/Chain Bridge Road/McLean) and just south of Lewinsville Road from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. the next morning.
